Recognized for Contributions to Community Sharing and Support for Vulnerable Groups

SEALON, a company specializing in adhesive solutions for apparel, announced that CEO Jinpyo Kim received the National Assembly Award for Social Welfare Contribution at the 27th Social Welfare Day Commemoration Ceremony, held on the 3rd at the Convention Hall of the Gyeonggi Textile Comprehensive Support Center.

The event was organized to raise awareness of social welfare and recognize individuals who have contributed to improving welfare in the local community.

Hosted and organized by the Yangju City Council on Social Welfare and supported by Yangju City, 

the event was attended by approximately 200 people, including representatives from social welfare organizations and institutions as well as Yangju citizens.

According to SEALON, Kim was selected for the award in recognition of his contributions to community sharing initiatives, 

support for vulnerable groups, and the promotion of social welfare.

In cooperation with the Yangju City Infinite Care Hope Team, SEALON has continued its community-focused social contribution activities, including sponsoring the “Meal Power Up, Independence UP!” meal support program for single-person households and young adults preparing for independent living, as well as providing childcare product sets through the “First Start Childcare Support Project” for families raising infants and young children.

In addition, SEALON has made donations to support child welfare and vulnerable groups while continuing volunteer activities involving its employees.

Kim said, “I believe this award is a meaningful recognition of the sharing and community partnership efforts that SEALON employees have practiced together. We will continue to carry out social contribution activities that provide practical support to neighbors in need and strive to become a company that grows together with the local community.”

Meanwhile, SEALON develops and manufactures adhesive solutions for functional apparel, including seam sealing tapes, adhesive films, and deco films. The company continues to pursue ESG management initiatives, including the development of eco-friendly products, improvements to its production environment, and support for local communities.
